Data Access Pages in MS Access

Hope someone can help

I've created a Data Access Page and it works fine within Access. I have mapped the server onto my machine, and can run it when I open it directly (ie W:\data.htm)

So far this is fine, but i need to distribute it across our intranet, and I can't access it by entering the location in the browser (ie

http://server1/data.htm)

It just comes up with the "The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem...." error. I've tested the connection to the DB within Access and it seems fine.

Is there something I need to set up, such as a DSN?

Try leaving off the HTTP: and using \ instead of /

Example:

Wrong:

http://server1/data.htm

Right: \\server1\data.htm
