I am trying to create a DAP from a query. I did create on from a query that pulls up all records past 45 days. But I tried with another query and it didn't work. I know the query works b/c I run reports off of it. It does the same as the first query but also seperates the information by contact #. EX: Like "121###". When I create a page with the 2nd query, nothing shows up on the page, just an empty record. COuld someone help.

Thanks

I took out some criteria: Like "121###" and Like "122###" and now it works. But I need the Like parts. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

First, don't think that DAP's act anything like forms. Let's say you have a form connected to a parameter prompt query. You answer the prompts and the data appears in your form. Not with DAP's. Remember, they're web pages. They "go through" Internet Explorer, outside of Access. E.g. you can't use functions such as the Dfuntions.
Check out the site msdn.microsoft.com/library
On the left, expand Office Solutions Development, then Microsoft Office XP, then Access 2002, then Technical Articles and scroll down to "Passing Paramters to a Data Access Page". This shows you how to do a parameter prompt with a DAP. You can convert this to get your data.
Also, remember the recordset you're showing must have a primary key.

And what about Like [tt]'121___'[/tt] ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

In my query, that is what I have in my criteria. I took it out and made a DAP with the same query(but w/o that criteria) and it worked. It shows data whereas with the criteria(the LIKE) it didn't. It did show the >45 and False criteria I had for two other fields
