Hi,

I have some reports that I will need to convert to a web page. Each consists of a Main report and one subreport to show activity for the active record.

I noticed that when I exported them as HTML, while some cleanup (line spacing, general formats, etc.) as needed, the general layout was preserved. However, when I saved them as a Data Access Page, the subreport (which was placed into the group footer) did not display; although the general layout was actually cleaner.

Can Data Access Pages display subreports?

No. Concept - Data Access Pages are WEB pages, NOT Access. They are outside of Access, thus the file extension .htm. You are now programming in the Internet Explorer environment, NOT Access. You will be programming in VBScript of JScript, the language of I.E.. So, since they are Web pages, you will have to create a DAP from scratch and use grouping to simulate a subreport. Or you can have a main web page and hyperlink to another web page which would show the "sub" details. If you do a search on "data access page" or DAP in this and other Access forums, you will find some more info on DAP's.

You could put the subreport in an iframe and use the server filter when you open the subreport
