I have a banded page showing 16 records at a time. On the same page I have controls displaying the fields from the record that is the current record. (Something like showing the datasheet and form view at the same time.) Everything is working ok except when I try to tab from one field to the next. The cursor moves out of the page to the address bar, to a control on the banded page 3 records down, etc.. It's pocessed. I have all of the tabindex properties set so it should tab from one field to the next.

Any ideas on why this may be occurring?

FancyPrairie - long time no see!

When running into such a problem I allways right click on the form and select "Tab order/Auto order" usually solves the problem.
I think that sometimes the access forms misunderstand or .... a forms tab order.

I don't have that option on a data access page (at least I don't see it).

So far, in order to make it tab correctly, I have to place my controls within a option group and set their tabindex all equal to the same number. In addition, I have to move the controls (via the script editor) so that they are laid out in the order I want the user to tab through them. A real pain.
