This is Internet not Intranet data access pages!

Here is my problem and I think many of you will be able to help me. I have my Data Access Pages setup and ready to publish to the server. The server settings and everything are set according to a Microsoft Article posted in the knowledge base.
The problem I run in to when I try to access the page through the Internet it gives me a msg: Cannot connect to data source at \\acom1\greenfieldhome\greenfield.mdb.
Do I not use the UNC to connect to the database?
This server is not a server on my lan, its a server I paid for and its not dedicated, its a shared server (shouldnt matter).
I cant even get Access to find the database while access the data on the server with frontpage. Gives me the same problem. So this is my last resort, please can someone help me.
