Data Access Page connection problem!

Hi,

I have created an Data Access Page in Access 2002. When I put the page on my external web space it does not work. I have tried putting the database on my web space too and changed the connection string of the data access page to point to the web url of the database. I know the path name is correct so what am I doing wrong? It just says it can't connect! Any help would be appreciated! Can this even be done?
