I am using CR8 on IIS with ASP. Got everyting loaded to make simple report run - using MSAccess . However, when I try to use one of my simple reports using an oDBC to SQL svr . i get the errors - user session expired, an error occured on the server accessing the db, failed to connect ... yada yada yayda .. all using the simple CR ASP example "start here first".

I've checked several documents and have not found the conditions they said would cause the error.

It's day 2 on this. Any help would be appreciated. THx

I've spent more time on the issue - and it appears that the read.records object is the culprit. it is in the sample application MoreRequiredSteps.

Scanning through numerous tech documents leads me to believe the login connection is wrong. Testing of the SetLogonInfo command indicates no connection - but I can't see how else it should operate. Also - the sample application didn't seem to have any connectio information at all - so Im not certain why it is "supposed" to work.

I've tested the server connection with SqlCon32.exe and it's working - but the ASP page still errors.

If you've had similar issue or knowledge please respond.
THank you
