DAT24 looses Power

Hi, does anybody know who to reset a HP Dat tape drive.
The drive looses any function every few days...
Powerdown the computer everything work fine.
The Dat-drive is connect to adaptec2940 scsi2 interface and terminated correctly. the device is the only one in the scsi bus.

Download HPs Library & Tape Tools which is good for testing your drive and media. Search for that on HPs website (it is free to download).

BTW did you tried another SCSI cable and terminator?

I checked the drive and it got probs with its eprom.
