I have noticed recently that many of my clients have not updated their DAT files since 1/29/04. I believe this may be the point when the new engine 4.3.20 became available. I am using ePolicy 2.5.1 and Viruscan 4.5.1 on these machines. Anyone know what would cause it to stop updating?

I have also had the same problem of not updating since then with version 4.5 and I believe this is because at that time the website for downloading dat updates stopped offering them for this but instructed users to upgrade to a newer version. I have computers that run version 7.0 as well and these have been continuing on fine. I think network associates may just have pulled the plug on our older version. I could be wrong though if anyone has more information I'd be interested to know for sure

I thought that might be the case, but I don't believe it is because I have other 4.5.1 clients that are updating. I believe the difference is the HR42 Hotfix for 4.5.1. Not all of my clients received the hotfix, since I was advised to push it only when the client exhibited a certain problem. Now, when I try to apply that hotfix it says Upgrade failed. All connections failed. I have been successful in upgrading some of them to 7.1 but did not want to do it wholesale yet because I am upgrading to 3.0.2 EPO in the next month and this seems like double work.

Any ideas out there?
