Dat update failure

I have a machine that can´t update the dat, with this error :
Error occurred while copying SCAN.DAT. File is locked or missing from the package

More info would be helpful. What McAfee product are you running, how do you run updates and what OS are you using?

I've had the same problem and I have to remove VirusScan and reinstall it.
