Hi,

I'm using Access 2003

Is there a way to validate the type of data a user can enter into a field in a Data Access Page? Does it have to be done via code or is it in the element properties under some strange name?

Also, When adding a record, it seems that the user is able to go to any other record on the page and modify fields that are set as read only, is there a way to disable that?

i believe this all has to be done in code. i'm not sure that their is any properties that will allow you to do this.
