Is there a way to get data access pages to work with Firefox? I get a "needs IE 5 etc" error.

I have PHP or RoR flagged for learning but wanted to get something out quickly....

Did you ever find a solution to viewing a Data Access page with Firefox? I have the same issue. My IT Dept prefers Firefox and has set this for the default browser. I can change the Windows association to view .htm files with Internet Explorer but on some computers, even in Internet Explorer, it shows "?Name" rather than displaying the data.

Help anyone? So, I have two issues - 1)how can I view a Data Access page in Firefox and 2) what might cause a browser to not display the data properly. It appears to not be able to connect to the database but I can edit the page, on this computer, and test the connection successfully.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry, I don't know FireFox. But I do know that DAP's were created by Microsoft to run in a Microsoft environment, thus Internet Explorer and not Netscape. And as mentioned, it needs IE. V5 or higher. Also, the computers need to reference the Microsoft Web components library. Don't know if you're on the internet or a intranet, but maybe the following might help.
