I hope someone can help

I have a order entry application written in access 97 which I have recently set up on a computer which has then been sent to an employee down south. Now he is getting a run time error and it appears that DAO is not installed on his machine. I know that this can be installed from the Microsoft Office Disk but would rather not have to get him to do that. Are there any other alternatives. I tried sending him the doa360.dll file but although it is now installed in the right directory, it is not available when he goes into references and browse

You will need to register the dll. If you need help doing that I could send you a totally untested program that is susposed to do that automatically. (Obtained from a usually reliable source)
But the safer way would be to use regsrv32.exe Terry (cyberbiker)

Can you send me that file. My email address is elisefreedman57@aol.com.

Thanks for your help

Ok, if you like. I was a being a bit tounge in cheek. I have not had time to test these executables at all.
Use them at your own risk.
They will be coming from cyberbiker2@yahoo.com
It would be safer to use regsvr32 Terry (cyberbiker)
