Ok so I've never ran into a problem thus far with the NT utils BUT MY BOSS on the other hand has completely fubar'ed his.

When he's browsing workstations he has this problem where all the workstations show up as green workstation icons and only show a small portion of our workstations on our network.

Myself and another co-worker have no problem browsing all workstations.. the workstations show up as blue workstation icons and I can see "all" of them.

To specifiy exactly where we are looking this is under our workgroup title under "Microsoft windows network" section.

We have tried both uninstalling and clearing the profile files stored in his user profile on xp... nothing has seemed to clear his problems...

any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
thanks

I would look at his dns and wins settings on his box. what is different between your box and his. Also, look and see if your computer browser service is running. Is his? is NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled on yours and his. It is something within these settings I am sure. Also, from a command prompt on your box and his type:

net share

are your shares identical to his? Is admin$ shared?
