Damaged table of contents

Each time I launched Eudora the following message appear for mailbox In : damaged table of contents.
So I choose to reconstruct the table but it seems not going to the end of the In mailbox as I obtain this message each time.
And when I check mail,the checking from the mail server seems working but the messages never appear in the In mailbox ...
What can I do to properly and completly reconstruct the In mailbox ?

Hi,

Have you tried deleting the In.toc file (this is the table of contents) while Eudora is not running, then reloading it?
