Damaged Inbox in Outlook Express

We have a damaged 'inbox' in Outlook Express. Messages can not be read (seem to be missing). Can it be rebuilt? Does anyone know of any fix?<br>

to repair your inbox you can delete inbox.idx and inbox.mbx then restart your computer and open outlook again and it will automatically rebuild them and that should work. you can find those files by using the find files or folders feature.

Thanks for your help. In some versions of Windows, there is no facility to use the Inbox repair tool as Damhna suggested.<br>
I will try what Ladin suggested.<br>
