When I want to deploy VB6-made DLL components in MTS, I get a message like : (translation)

"One or more DLL seem to be damaged. Either a DLL produced an exception during the installation process, or the DLL and its incorporated library aren't synchronized. Ensure you that correct versions of all files of execution of applications or other DLL are located in the directory of the component's DLL, or in the system's access path."

and i'm sure the dll's aren't damaged (i compiled them again and again) everything was working correctly fews days ago, but now i always have this message (did i do something wrong ???)...

any idea ?
thanks!

(WIN NT4, Oracle 8.1.5)

Does your component use MDAC (data access components)?

If so, you might want to reinstall the latest MDAC_TYP.EXE from the microsoft site. What sometimes happens is one or more of the MDAC dll's fail to get installed, resulting in a bad MDAC installation. It'll work for some programs, but fail for others that use a different data connection technology (ADO vs. ODBC, etc).

It wouldn't hurt to re-apply the Windows NT or 2000 service pack afterwards, too.
