Hi all,
We're looking to get the Dell LTO4 drive TL2000 autoloader. The problem is all our storage solutions we have at the moment are SCSI interfaces (disk array and current tape drives). We dont have an extra PCI slot on the backup server and the current PCI slot has the SCSI card for the disk array.
Is it possible to daisychain a SAS tape autoloader onto a SCSI disk array? I'm assuming the connectors are different?
If it cant be daisy chained, are there any other alternatives, short of buying another server for it?
