Can someone confirm the name/type of cord needed to daisy chain two tmu220pd printers through IDN ports? If so, where can i purchase a 25-50ft cord for this. Any advise would be appreciated.

thank you in advance.

mrwonderfulsaloon,

If my memory serves me well, cable type is RJ12. Amazon or a Google search for "IDN cable" will give a list of supplier/vendors.

I believe you can use a CAT 5. Back in the old days it was Belden cable. If the printer still has 2 ports on it, the chain would go through the 2 printer ports. So terminal to printer, printer to printer. That is a true daisy chain. When we use to do them, we did more of a clothes line. In each jack, you punch down 2 CAT 5 cables.
