Daisy chain DTI Nortel Fiber extenders

I am using the DTI Nortel fiber extenders on a project. They work very well. I know they only can push the signal u to about 1.9 miles. I had a thought. Could I then add another extender at the end of that 1.9 miles and then boot it another 1.9 miles?
