Daily_inc backup not firing every day

I am using veritas netbackup 5.1 mp4 on windows 2000

i created a policy for daily-incr,

but backup not happening everyday,

i need to fire manually everyday, on the same server i created weekly policy, this policy will run every weekly automatically, by daily-incr won't happen

plz help in this

A little information missing.

What does the schedule look like? Items such as is this Calendar based or Frequency based, etc..

If you have the schedule set to use frequency set to "1 day" and you run a manual backup, then the manual backup counts as having run and the next backup will not run until 24 hours after the manual backup. If you are using frequency then set the frequency to hours and to a number of hours that is 1 greater than the window.
