Hello,

I'm having a problem with the time on a Meridian 11c,
we lose 2 seconds a day on time.

How do i set a daily adjustment? I read the following but it is a bit confusing

SDTA X y -- X Y
X=negative increment and 1 is positive
y= 0-60 second increments of 100ms

What command do i type to rectify this problem?
the y factor is confusing.

Also how do i verify that the midnight routines are running?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

i think you would enter SDTA 1 20, (20 = 100ms x 20 = 2seconds)

To check if your midnights are running;

In LD22 PRT OVLY, you will get something like
OVLY
SID 2805
BKGD 044 045
PBXH 03
TODR 00
DROL 030 034 038 043 044 045 135
CY45 03
MULTI_USER ON

DROL = what gets run at midnight

If you want to see confirmation that they have run, leave a session open on your switch to a tty port that has MTC included in the USER settings. you can use procomm or if your desperate hyperterminal

Ever since the SL-1 the dang thing couldn't keep good time. You'd think for the money it would.
