Hi,

I have created a basic report with the following information:

Total Count Count < 1 hour % < 1 hour
Northern
Southern
Western
Cluster Count

In addition to other filters applied through the Select Expert, I have set parameters for the Start Date and End Date for the report.

This report is set up to run as a daily report.

I need to alter this report to display and graph Year-to-Date summaries beneath what I have already created above.

Ideally I would like to use 1/07/2004 as my starting date parameter and use the date end parameter that I have already set up for the daily report as my end date parameter
ie. {?End Date}

For example:

If I ran a daily report for the 1/05/04

I would like to have my daily report information at the top of the report (which I have already created) for the 1/05/2004
and at the bottom I will need to graph the YTD percentages by location for the 1/07/04 -> 1/05/2004

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers

The easiest way to achieve this would be to create a 2nd report displaying the YTD information and then add this as a linked subreport in your main report.

I agree...a subreport for the YTD data would be simpler to construct.

If it were one report...you would have to set conditions to trap the daily data when it finally comes....

Thanks Gary,
Exactly what I was looking for.

If you want a subreport that's similar to the main report, then use [Save As] to get a copy of the main report. Modify and then copy back in as a subreport (at least this works on Crystal 8.5)
