Daily logs contain 2 days of data?

Hello,

I'm looking at a set of IIS 6 log files and am seeing the following:

#Software: Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0
#Version: 1.0
#Date: 2008-10-02 04:00:00

The data starts and ends at 4am. Why is this? It means the log file for October 2nd will contain data from 4am October 2nd through 4am October 3rd.
