Steady power light on D816, flashing power light on TVS50. No working phone sets - they all start to 'light up' then cut out, repeatedly. Phone set not connected to system at time of incident also does this if plugged in, so I'm inclined to think it's the main switch vs. the sets themselves.

Pretty sure the TVS50 is no longer in use as client long ago contracted a third party to handle AA offsite. Sorry, I don't know much else about this system - I'm their IT person and original installer of this phone switch is apparently out of business according to client, so he's asking if I can help or know anybody.

Thanks, -Joe

Concentrate on the 816. The VM will always flash until the integration is completed to the 816 so it looks like that's your trouble. Probably start by unplugging everything from the 816 and power it up alone, then plug a single phone into port 1. If it doesn't start acting properly, then I'd be looking at a replacement KSU. They can be picked up rather cheaply in the secondary market and if you're close to the Great Lakes, I have one in the warehouse for less than $200.

As a matter of fact, I am in the Great Lakes Area (Farmington area). Do you also do programming/installation? Or is this a fairly straightforward swap?

Thanks, -Joe

Oops. I was in Troy on Wednesday and Ann Arbor on Friday last week.

I have a pair of Circle 4's (1232 r4) sitting right next to me. They program with a tool that requires a serial port and probably Windows XP or similar.

Now, best to send me an email at the name and woh.rr.com with your contact info.
I'll cut you a better deal if you want me to install.
