D816/TVS120 System

I was able to purchase this system with 4 phones for $600. I have 3 companies that I run out of my house. I currently have 5 phone lines (1 personal, 1 phone/1 fax for company 1, 1 phone and 1 fax for company 2, and no real set up for company #3).

1st question: Is it possible to set this system up so I have 3 separate environments- one for each company with a dedicated phone line(s) for each company with unique message greetings? So that on any of the phones a call can be answered where based on line Button LED and maybe unique ring tone I could answer with a personalized answer based on company called? I have 2 offices in my house. One for my wife's real estate business, and one for my sales management business (I also use my office for my graphics/web design business). I would like to use my office to answer her calls as I am the customer service support person for her business.

2nd question: If so, how much would the estimated costs to have a technician set set up the system and program the environments? Would this be something I could do with some reading of the manuals?

3rd question: I bought this system because of the price. What would the estimated street price be for this system if I wanted to sell it (say it didn't work for my home situation)?

Since your system is small then yes you could run the 2 companies thru the vmail, and not have any problems. Price to install varies, Generally its 100 for the phone system, 100 for the vmail, 35 per phone. plus any cabling that may be done. If you have have never installed a phone system before, you more than likely will not be able to install this yourself even with manual. you may get as much as 1000 for the system on ebay to a used dealer prolly 600 or so.

also I would combine your faxes lines into 1 line, and use the other for a rollover line to one of your other busier businesses. Or use it for the third business.
