D2009-->D2007

I may have to downgrade one of my projects from D2009 to D2007 to a component that I would like to use that is only available in D2007.

When i open my project in 2007 I get a few errors such has doublebuffered property or explicitleft property is not available. Then the project opens and I can run it.

2 questions...Is there a way I can save my D2009 projects to omit the missing properties in D2007?

Are these properties such as doublebuffered really important? Would my project if converted to D2007 suffer from that?

What is the component and do you have the source for the component?

doublebuffered is typically used to eliminate screen flicker when you are updating a component's visual state or appearance.

D2009 is unicode and D2007 isn't so that might be an issue going backwards.
