No buttons (line)on the set to see a held call.
No way to put them there.
Directed pickup is supposed to work on held calls. I can't get mine to pick up a held call from a digital set.
Ideas?
Transfer the only option?

use call park on a button to park the call (101, 102, 103 etc) that is then lighting up on the digital set in case it is not picked up they can see it.

then a shortcode to unpark the call from that zone 101 to unpark zone 101 etc.

We use that all the time but the D160's are crap for it. I stand corrected they are crap.

I set up a group for the wireless handsets and a button on the phones to push to transfer calls to them.
This is all I have time to do. The D160 handset can put calls on hold rather than just park calls.
I hope these hold up well considering your buying a licence for a cordless phone? Give me a break!

I have a cheat sheet I wrote up for D160 park buttons I figured I would share. You basically have 2 options:

Option 1 (more suitable for using a single park zone)
Make shortcodes in IP office (below example assumes park zone 1)
ie *75/Call Park/1/0 and *76/Unpark Call/1/0

On the D160
feature>Button Programming>Yes>Select Button>select feature>Speed Dial>*75 for call park button>next>label
feature>Button Programming>Yes>Select Button>select feature>Speed Dial>*76 for unpark call button>next>label

*When using the shortcode method you will have to hit end call twice to hang since the phone still thinks the call is on hold and you speed dialed a second number.

Option 2 (more suitable for using multiple park zones)
On the D160
feature>Button Programming>Yes>Select Button>feature>Call Park
feature>Button Programming>Yes>Select Button>feature>Retrieve Call

With this method when you hit the button it will prompt you for the park zone.

**By default(both methods) you will have to hit the unpark button twice, once shows the button label and the second actually unparks the call. To make it one button press Config>Select>User Settings>Function Key Label (hit Select)>Next(turns off)>Select>Save

***Neither method will light the button showing a call is parked you will just have to know if a call is parked when unparking it or know the park zone is not in use when parking.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
