Will somebody help me write a d sum function in a query. I want to calculate how many times a yes appears going across columns. I am trying to build the expression, but have had no luck. Help!

Try this.

SELECT
Abs([Col1]+[Col2]+[Col3]+[Col4]+...+[ColN]) AS YesCnt
FROM YesNoTbl; Terry L. Broadbent
