I have a D-Link DI-604 with three computers connected by wires. Then I have a Wireless Internet connection(uses a Radio outside to hit tower connecton, no phone lines used.) coming into the WAN. I can see each computer any time but the internet is dropped at least once a day. What is going on is the wireless internet dropping or is it my router?

if your wired PCs go down aswell, it's the entire router, if it's just the wireless going down, it'll be ther wireless side.

try checking your router's access logs for some sort of indication of the problem.

log date & time of the drops - this can often help identify the cause.

sorry, just read "...I can see each computer any time" in which case it'll be the internet modem or the WAN part of your router.

You could always try updating the firmware.
(It's the techie version of "Give it a kick, that might solve the problem" isn't it? If in doubt, update the firmware [lol])

next time this happens see if re-setting the "radio" fixes the problem. if so, its the wireless link. this is common practice for our customers in some spots.

**re-setting = power cycle

"Jack of all trades. Master of none."
