Hi
I have a D-Link DWL-2000AP+ in a small 5 user serviced office environment. I have a switch which has a server, printers, one user desktop and the D-Link wireless access point connected to it. The desktop user is connected all day long without any problems. However, all my wireless laptop users keep dropping and regaining their connections at the same time. It's only down for a few minutes at a time but you can understand how it is annoying everyone.
Now, it must be a problem with the WAP as it affects ALL and ONLY my wireless users. So, since they're cheap as chips, I bought a new one and installed the config from the old one. Lo and behold, I have the same problem. I'm going to try a factory reset and manually configure it tomorrow (rather than using the config from the old one) but surely this can't be the problem?! Can it?
Can anyone offer any other suggestions as to what might be causing it (or more to the point, how to fix it)?
Thanks in advance and let me know if you need more info.
David
