I just hooked up a D-Link DVG-1402S with Lingo service.
Although I can connect fine when I put the thing behind my old router I can't get a connection when I replace the old router with the new device.
I made sure that the device clones the same MAC address that the old router had cloned. However, there's no IP assigned via DHCP. I did all the turning off, booting up in the order modem - router - PC. No resolution.
Any thoughts?

Are you using DSL or Cable for broadband? You may need a PPPoE config on the new D-Link or something.

I have cable. It should be just a straight forward DHCP configuration (fully automated).
However, in the meantime I read somwhere that someone else reported that this device does not work properly when MAC cloning is activated.
