D-Link DI 624 Router 1

Howdy folks,

I have several little niggles with my D-Link DI 624 Version B router which i'm thinking a firmware upgrade may well fix. This i'm a bit confused by. I live in the UK and I bought the router from a reputable store in the UK. The router has a link to the firmware upgrade site but this is

http://www.dlink.com.

On this site it explains that the firmware available is for the US version of the router only. So does this mean, since it is pointing me at the US site, my router is a US version or is this just standard on all versions and I need to download the UK version anyway.

I had the original Q.I have a D-Link DI-704P.I amm connected to sbcyahoo with a speedstream modem and had to add a fire wall.So I needed a router. not only to keep out unwanteds but to set up a network with a computer downstairs.All of the hardware is connected but when I try to install through my browser by using the IP they gave me.I get no response at all.I really don't know wassup.
