I run slackware linux-current with kernel 2.4.2 I had recently locked down all my ports, to only allow access to ssh and apache. Performing a routine port scan, I discover port 2015 is open. I think, well, maybe some program I downloaded uses it. But the odd thing is that it does not show up anywere as being run. I tried 'netstat -a', 'socklist', its not in any of the /etc/rc.d files or in /etc/services. 'ps x' does not show it running, nor does the kde process manager. My question is how do I shut this thing off ??? Is it likely that i have been hacked? I have firewalled the port and checked my log but I don't see anything suspecious there. If anyone can tell me how to disable this port I would be very greatful !!

How do you find this port?

Regards! I want to emigrate Canada or Australia. Any relative information you supplied will be appreciated!
