I am trying to help out our Accounts team with an Access error (Cannot copy file - cyclic redundancy error). I have checked around on the net, and I think this may be as a result of the cyclic redundancy check performed by access before copying a file. Unfortunately, it's a bit vague, and I'd like to know if there is a way of avoiding re-entering the last lot of data from the original file. The data was entered by a temp who is unfamiliar with Access, but the accounts programme is pretty foolproof, and no errors were encountered while the data was being entered. Any pointers that would save us unnecessary work would be much appreciated.

Have u tried to make a new databse and import all the objects except the one that causes the error?
