Hi,

I burned some important data into some rewritable DVDs before wiping out my hard drive. But when I tried to retrieve the data, I got this "cyclic Redundancy error". I tried those problematic DVDs on a different machine, the copying all stopped at the same point.

Is there any way that I could recover the data on those disks, even partially?

P.S. Is the error caused by physical damage on the disks, or is it because of a unsuccessful burning process? Could I erase the DVDs and reuse them?

Thanks
