I have to prove a section of C code is taking too long for EEPROM access times. I have compiled down in to the assembly code but I am having trouble find how long, best case worst case, certain instructions take to execute. The target is a PPC603e running at 20Mhz, (Yes it is an old system but the only one available at the time) and won't be replaced or clock bumped. Any ideas on where to look for cycles per instruction? I have the instruction set but no cycle info.

Try looking for a old MASM reference manuals. I have a copy of the MASM 5.0 reference manual and it includes a LOT about speeds for 8086/88/286/386. Also, try looking in the INTEL site.

Sincerely,
