Can someone please refer me to a URL showing the wiring of the extension splitter to allow all 6 extensions to be used.

Free from memory:

Tel 1:
The first extension on pin 4 and 5
The fourth extension on pin 2 and 7

Tel 2:
Second on 4,5
Fifth on 2,7

Tel 3:
Third on 4,5
Sixth on 2,7

Thanks for the reply.

I have wired a cable from the unit to a Cat5 patch panel and connected two phones. This reveals another problem. They ring on internal calls but not on external calls. There is a red light on the phone which flashes but the sounder does not work.

Any ideas?

Problem solved. Used a master mod-tap.
