I want to create mailboxes outside of what is created now 1-8 which are menu node and I want to create different ones.

My issue is that we were 3 digit extensions before and they began with 1 and now we are 5 digits beginning with 2**** and in the controller anyone pushes 1 it directly dials menu #1 sales and marketing and driving them nuts.i tried to get clever and created an extension 12345 to maybe trick system and no luck

I’m trying to create a new mailbox within menu mode and it’s not allowing me? It says only options 0-9 are available? Looking for a creative way to do something for the callers that press #1 not listening to message.

Have you tried enabling in VM Options allow transfer to any number?
Dont know what will occur since you are using 5 digit numbers (will wait for 5 digits) but should stop it from automatically choosing mailbox 1.
