Help...

I have a MICS and the customer wants to use and external Call Waiting ID Box. Normal Caller ID works fine on the box, which is hooked "upstream" from the MICS on the analog line. For Call Waiting ID to work the extension, or in this case the MICS must be routed through the CWID box. Not a problem, but when the CWID burst is sent the MICS thinks the line is interrupted, and it hangs up. My question is: Is there a setting to allow a longer time interval in milliseconds before the line is disconnected. If I turn off supervision will that help?

Thanks

ewing,
You can't hurt anything by turning off suprvsn so try.

Turning off supervision did solve the problem, but hopefully someone knows how to get it working without loosing supervision.

OK...I solved my own problem. The supervision issue got me to thinking. I found that you can set the "OSI" Open Swithc Interval in Module Programming. Bumping from 460ms to 600ms did the trick.

Ewing,
Good show. Well done.
