I am going into an environment that uses CVS. They have it installed on a unix server, and I need to setup my windows computer to access it, but I do not know what all I need to do. Looking at one other computer that has this, I see a few things:
There is an evironment variable set and there is a file called .cvspass in the users home directory. Can I just copy this stuff to the same directories on a new computer, or is there something that I need to run to set up the new windows computer?

The nicest way I've found to access CVS from Windows (apart from if you're doing it directly through an IDE) is to use Tortoise CVS. That will add CVS options to the right-click menu on Windows Explorer.
