CVS Noobie

Noobie here, trying to learn CVS. Downloaded and installed WinCVS. Do not understand how to create the code baseline, for the repository, nor do I understand what is required of the repository.

From what I read, I appears the repository has to reside online. Is that correct?

How do I establish the baseline for or create a new repository?

It really does sound like you need to start from first base - can I sugest you read up here.
