Hey there,

As i have been trying to set up CVS on mandrake 9 and has been unsuccessful with it I would like to get your expert comments on some of this. I will breifly say what I did.

cvs-1.12.12 is the version i started compiling.

I did the following, ./configure

make

make install

end of this I edited the config files and restarted the xinetd. I did specify the CVSROOT using the following command.

cvs -d /home/cvs/repository

but after all this i still get an error saying

CVSROOT not specified.

Please be kind enought to help me on this.

Thanks & regards,
Charith
