I have a CVS archive of dubious content and want to start basically fron scratch. First want to save the current archive "just in case" then clear it out then load it from the code in production. I'm new to CVS and looking thru the docs I have is not really helping yet. Any suggestions on how to do what I described above?

Thanks,
rj

Do you have access rights to the cvs repository server? If you do then you should just be able to rename the directories that make up the current "archive" remove all references to it and start over.
