We have a user who received an error in outlook.

We did not send the error report to MS. Outlook generated a .cvr file. How can we read the file?

Generally those are cover letters. What was your user trying to do when this file was generated?

Just reading e-mail.

Why would outlook generate a cover letter?

After doing more research, it appears that Office generates .cvr files that have something to do with errors. This isn't a file that you can examine. No clue what you're supposed to do with said file but I'm sure somewhere someone knows what to do with it.

I would suggest finding out more about what the user was doing when the error occurred and then try to resolve that issue.

JP,

Thanks for the assistance. I will see what the user was doing exactly.

Thanks again.
