I was wondering if anyone has seen anything regarding this that Red Hat and Google just put out. Google Online Security Linkhas a write up on it. My reason for posting is to find out if this is something that the Avaya people know about and is there a patch or can we just run the patch they offer? My guess is no we can but I was hoping someone here might be of more information on it.

Thanks,

have not heard anything about it but Avaya doesn't publish any security warnings until they have a fix or workaround. They don't want to scare off customers.

Thanks for the info, it's about what I had expected.

The Red Hat Security Advisory notice on this only came out yesterday! Even the best Avaya engineer might mutter "give us a chance"

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

great stuff, you are on the ball sizbut
