hello all,

I am new to Fireworks, so if this question is a ridiculous one, please forgive me!
I am trying to fathom a way of cutting out something from a picture without it looking terrible. I think there must be a way to isolate something from an image but can't work it out. Does anyone have any tips for me please?
Many thanks
Russ

Use the lasso tool, and either add or subtract mask, or simply delete the selected area.
Shift adds to the selection, alt removes from the selection (from memory) while you are working on it.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
