I've designed an oval logo. I would like to cut the LOGO ONLY and place in another program. When I click the logo to export, the "crosshairs" form a rectangle shape. The result is my logo with extra "white space" around the corners. Is there any way to cut the shape only for exporting?
I'm importing into a web page with a background. The logo looks funny with squared white corners against a background picture, when it's supposed to be an oval logo?

HELP HELP!!

Many thanks,
Lyn

For an image to have a transparent background for a web page, you will need to use either a GIF or PNG file. So in CorelDraw go to File > Export, Select the GIF format and hit Export. This will bring you to a Bitmap Export window. Make sure the Color says Paletted 8 bit and select 96 or 72 dpi, and OK. Depending on the version of CorelDRaw you have, you may then next go to a GIF Export Window. Where is says transparency, select Image Color and with the eyedropper tool select the background white from the original image window and OK. Now you can import that GIF file into your HTML document or application. Hope this helped!
