Cutting off text field

In my table the field length is 6000. I take this data and dump it to a text file. The problem is when i dump the record to the table it cuts it off. It cuts off every record to this length and i cant figure out why. The destination fields are ok stating 6000 characters.

Here is the field:
999999 |777777 |7777658 |45435435 |2543525 |45354353 |98797897 |686786786 |080890890 |234243234 |5435435 |657575765 |654643 |3333333 |35253

Here is what come in the text file:

Are you doing this in Query Analyzer?

Did you know the Query Analyzer cuts off the
display at 256 characters (as a default). You
can change it like this...

Click Tools -> Options
Click Results tab
Change maximum characters per column
