Need help please! I'm using a vinyl sticker cutter trying to cut a two color text sticker. I want the text and then I want to cut the outline seperatly. I know how to do this if I can seperate the outline from the text itself to a different layer. Does anyone have a clue on how to do this?

Cutting 2 color vinyl stickers with Adobe Illustrator

Open layers window and duplicate your layer with the stroked text.
Click on the first layer, select text and, in stroke window, type in 0 for stroke weight.
Now hide the fist layer by clicking on the eye to the left of that layer.
Click on second layer, select text and, for fill color, selext None - leaving just the stroke.
You can now show the first layer and the two layers will show like the original text, fill and stroke.
Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
